About Faxen

Faxen is a 24 year old cosplayer based in New England (USA). He has been cosplaying since 2010 and is mostly self taught. He has a BFA in interdisciplinary art from Montserrat College of art, and takes on cosplay commissions usually once or twice a year. He aspires to work solely off of free-lancing cosplay commissions and art.

Wigs

Faxen's favorite part of making cosplays and commissions are doing wigs. He enjoys finding creative new ways to make wild and convincing costume wigs that really put that extra POW in a cosplay! He takes on wig commissions occassionally, and tries to increase his skill level by taking on challenging projects. Check out wig commissions and cosplay wigs here.

Awards and Performances

Faxen has been competing since 2010, and has won several awards, including:
  • 2nd place, novice division for performance, Anime Boston 2010 
  • 1st place, novice craftmanship contest, AAC 2012
  • 1st place, Masters devision, Anime Boston 2013 
  • 2 Judges awards, Masters devision, Anime Boston 2013 
  • Crafsmanship judges award, craftsmanship contest, CTCon 2013
  • ​Cosplay Guest of Honour at FrostCon 2013 in Canada

Commissions

Faxen only takes on commissions occasionally, and prefers doing wig commissions. If you would like a commission, please check the Commissions Page to see if commissions are  currently being accepted.
